Livingston and McKay Tapped for Live Carter Event

Livingston and McKay have been asked to lead the production and technology team of former President Jimmy Carter's New Baptist Covenant gathering.

Baptists nationwide will gather together virtually through live satellite broadcasts and live streaming on the Internet to discuss ways to combat problems like poverty, equity and the rising prison population. Despite diversity, organizers hope to unite the group by breaking racial, geographical, and theological walls during the Carter led three-day meeting.

The New Baptist Covenant II will be broadcast live from a location in Atlanta to venues hosting the event in major metropolitan areas around the nation. In addition to producing the live broadcast, McKay and Livingston will equip each remote host site and train the local technical personnel.

By using technology, event planners expect to have a much larger audience than three years ago. The first New Baptist Covenant was held in 2008 with an estimated 15,000 in attendance at the Georgia World Congress Center.
