Business Review Wins National Award

Business Review, the weekly radio series airing for seven years on Central Texas NPR station, KWBU-FM 103.3, won an Award of Distinction from IAVA Communicator Awards. Currently Livingston+McKay is working on getting Business Review a larger audience later this year. Hosted by CJ Jackson, it is written and produced by Jessica Denk and executive produced by Renée McKay and Joani Livingston. The Business Review is a production of KWBU, Livingston+McKay LLC and the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.

Founded nearly two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Award of Excellence, our highest honor, is given to those entries whose ability to communicate positions them as the best in the field. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement.

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as Airtype Studio, Big Spaceship, Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, Lockheed Martin, MTV Networks, Pitney Bowes, rabble+rouser, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Time, Inc, Wired, and Yahoo!
